HYC UPDATE

Just a quick HYC update! Well this past week I lost another 2 lbs. as I stated in an earlier post. I am happy that I have lost a total of 10 lbs. since my start with WW and I think that this is a good start. I am still VERY motivated which is a good thing and this time I just know I will make it to my goal weight because I have changed my way of thinking and my mind set is where it's supposed to be :)
This week's Goals:
Mini goal- at least 3 lbs. off :)
Try to get more veggies and fruits in my diet this week
I am still working on the excercise thing ....I just HATE excercise but I know it's an important part of suceeding in weight loss so I am going to implement some type of excercise I just don't know what yet.
Well I hope everyone has another great week and let's all make it another LOSER WEEK :)

Congrats on the loss! I hate teh "e" so I use "moving more". My advice - don't go crazy with the exercising too quickly. Start out slow so you don't overwhelm yoruself. All in good time, we'll reach our goals :)

Thanks for coming by my blog (Stark Raving Flab). Sounds like you are feeling very motivated - that's fabulous. You know, I realize that it might seem very daunting at first but DVD workouts are really effective and you don't have to go to the gym. Even the notoriously tough ones like Turbo Jam and/or Hip Hop Abs can be modified for a person of any size or fitness level - and they are FUN! I tell people that even if you just wave your hands in the air and dance around, at least you're doing something that makes you sweat for 40 minutes - or less if that's where you have to start. Just start small and don't try to overdo it. Find stuff you LIKE - there is something out there, I promise. Netflix has a lot of workout videos - that might be a fun place to start. Good luck to ya!

Hi ... about exercise ...
1. you can lose weight without exercise but it's not as healthy. Our bodies are built to move.
2. There will come a day as you lose more weight and eat healthier food when you will be busting out of your skin to go for a walk or do a session at the gym.
3. Maybe you need to think in terms of moving your body rather than formal exercise.

In the meantime look at the small changes you can make like parking a little further away from the SuperMarket or walking up a flight of stairs instead of taking the lift. Look for somewhere you can do something, no matter how small that dooesn't feel like 'exercise'. I know someone who does 'stand-up - sit-down' right through all the ads when watching TV. That adds up to quite a lot of movement.

I don't know you well so if I've offended because you already are on this wave I apologise.

Please don't stress yourself re-exercise .... you will do it.

Hi Ladies,

Thank you ALL for the great advice about excercise. I know I have to do some type of excercise for movement and also for toning reasons because after I get all 184 lbs. off I am sure that I will have some loose skin issues so I know that toning and excercise can benefit me.

MargieAnne- You did NOT offend me in any way. I always like different opinions and you have a point :)

Donnalouise- Thanks for letting me know that even "moving" my body will benefit. I really didn't think of it that way.

breckgirl- Yes I am very motivated and thanks for the advice on workout DVD's ...I have been looking into this one because right now I can't see myself going to the gym at my weight , I just don't have the guts to do that yet. So a workout DVD might just be my answer.

Thank you ladies and I hope everyone is having a LOSER WEEK :)

Congrats on all the lost pounds! I haven't been doing much exercise besides walking my dogs. It's low impact and it doesn't take very long before you start seeing/feeling the results. When we adopted our second dog in March I was in a size 14 now I'm down to a size 10 and that's with a major falling off the wagon episode.
